“A good project begins with a good client”

This design and build public competition delivered in 2022 with NGE construction was a minimalist exercise. Getting more than the most out of a very constrained site, a program while respecting a very limited and budget was the challenge.

With the mission of rebuilding the 2 800 seat eastern stand of the Stade de la Rabine, we created the stadium’s main entry, first and last impression for the public, a covered bar and a 70m long celebration area, the main TV camera view “wall of supporters” and an additional area sponsors. And to finish, we delivered the project on time and respected the budget.

All that was made possible with the initiating architectural concept of lifting the majority of the seating above an open public deambulatory offering excellent pitch views from a sheltered space.

A simple unforeseen idea that fortunately came to us following a match in November 2021: thanks to the fervor and enthusiasm of the crowd, we began by designing the stadium around it.
